Just a repost of a topic from the MML3 boards. Figured it wouldn't hurt to try to inform more people.

kind of pathetic how this needs to be done to revive a game

oh well, as much as i hate this move i "liked it" just for the sake of showing capcom they made a wrong choice by canning the project an to show people DO CARE

Congratulations?

I wasn't aware there was facebook page for this. Is it solely for the revival of the project or did this exist before the game was cancelled?

Congratulations on your post as well. I don't know why I felt the need to congratulate you, but I did. You're welcome.

Solely for the revival of the project. Capcom Europe joined the page too FYI.

Europe has been relevant for a long time. I'm confident their support will lead to the revival of this project.

This just in from the future! A record breaking 500,000 people petitioned for MML3 to come back to life and just 5 months after the launch only 50k copies were sold. Fan response was critical to the flop of the game by stating, "It's not as good as MML1".

Truth hurts doesn't it?

This is what I initially thought, but if they followed through this game, I think it would have sold very well, had they released it very early on in the 3DS.

Also, from what I've seen, fan created games rarely succeed. There's a reason why game developers have a job as game developers, and why fans are just fans. In the end, sometimes the game developers know what you like better than you do. It's their job to know. Chances are, this game might have been an ugly clusterf*** that nobody would like
