Should Nintendo start working on the next portable console already?

I think that the post 3DS era should involve a single screen console (with the possibility of an expandable second screen for touchscreen lovers) and no 3D.

Seriously though if you don't like 2 screens, a touch screen or 3D, the hell do you have a 3DS for?

Why are you complaining about the 3D? If you don't like it, then turn it off completely via the slider switch. Problem solved. Has it occurred to you that some people like the 3D effect, and actually use it? I say keep the 3D option in the next generation. It will probably be improved even.
