Does that mean Nintendo could add more videos today, if they wanted to?

I really don't understand their rules.

It's probably just once per week. However, I think they did it like this so you'll have a surprise waiting for you every time you open your 3DS.

If you really believe Nintendo wants to "surprise" you with a video, you need help, man. And how would you be surprised every time you open it if they only do it once a week?

They could also update the eShop today, if they wanted to. That doesn't mean they will.

they just said it will be a surprise because it will happen on PST time. i think they're just saying don't wait up for it (3am EST for a lot of people) look for it on thursday or friday mornings.
