I heard Steel Diver was good, don't have it myself though so I can't really offer a valid opinion.
I do have Samurai Warriors, which is good. --- 3DS FC (PM w/ your FC if you add me): 3995 6506 3259 Phantasy Star 2 screen name: Clavis II |Class: Hunter |Race: Newman

If you like Dead or Alive, DOA: Dimensions is a lot of fun and has great online play.
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries is really fun too. --- 3DS FC: 2750-1096-6563 Ryan

Dead or Alive surprised me. It has fast fluid gameplay and was really fun. The pathetic story and laggy online suck, though. :/
Mercenaries 3D was a great buy for me because I haven't played RE5 Mercs and don't own a compatible console. Fast-paced gunplay and great online help keep it fresh, seeing as it kinda lacks content imo. --- My 3DS FC is 4854-6508-4956. Let me know if you want to add me so I can add you. :)

Pilotwings is really good, but not $40 good, if you ask me. If you can get it cheaper, like $30 or lower, go for it. Also, Rayman is fun. If you've already played some form of Rayman 2, you probably shouldn't bother, though. And again, probably not worth $40. Find it cheap, if anything. --- MegaMan Legends 3 is cancelled. I am dead inside.

RE Mercenaries - I've spent 43 hours on that game so far - love it. Pilot wings was pretty good too.
I'd not really recommend Steel Diver unless you can get it really cheap. People say Pilot Wings is light on content but Steel Diver takes it to a whole new level.

DoA's online is god-tier, but it might not be suitable for you if you like games with a lot of single-player content. --- You forget, fool! This Purugly flies!
