Bomberman isn't dead yet. Konami hasn't made a decision on what to do with the Hudson projects. There is hope for Bomberman.

While I think it's an example of Capcom being too lazy to revitalize it, Mega Man is dead because it's been dying. MMSF went downhill in sales, and that recent MMBN-style game (or whatever it was) was probably the least successful of its line. No Mega Man games this gen have been very successful.

As for Bomberman, it's not really dead. It's just in a transitional period. You can only do so much with the property.

EXE/BN, Classic 9, and Zero collection have been successful.

Bomberman is actually dangling in purgatory, if Konami rejects the franchise... Game over. Unless they decide to sell the Hudson series.
