~Top 5 3DS games out now?~ (also what game should I get)

You owe it to yourself to play these games:

Ocarina of Time (like you said, it's the obvious choice)
Link's Awakening DX (from e-shop, best VC game available now)
Cave Story (simply awesome)

I've poured hours upon hours into all those games. Street Fighter IV... not so much. But I guess I don't like classic fighters.

They made sites like GameRankings and Metacritic for things like this:

1. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D [93.79%]
2. Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition [86.74%]
3. Dead or Alive: Dimensions [82.00%]
4. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars [80.08%]
5. Ridge Racer 3D [75.21%]

My opinion:
Get Ocarina of Time 3D

1. samurai warriors. game will last you forever if u try to see all the events.
2. doa:d looks fantastic and is a lot of fun. and i hate fighters.
3. ridge racer 3d if you like racing games go for it. the other one us terrible.
4: ghost recon shadow wars, i'm a sucker for tactics games and this one is unexpectedly fun.
also don bother with cave story, there's a cave story 3d in the making.

Why do people love THAT game SO much?

Is it really that good? What makes it so good?

RPG elements? Good story? Gameplay?

to answer, this one is by far the most original. 2 create a chars to pick from, going thru the majority of the sengoku era. it being highly tactical for ypu controlling 4 characters at once. it was really challenging [for me] on hard and chaos mode when most other ones i rememver breezing thru. and if you're a completionist its going to take well over 100 hours to see every event

Plus, it follows the arc of the Sengoku era of Japan. Unlike prior Warriors games which had alternate endings depending on your character, Samurai Warriors Chronicles has you as a sort of observer/warrior, going from faction to faction, learning from these great generals. It does have alternate history eventually, though. It also has Persona-like interaction elements which determines your friendships with certain characters.

Along with Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, it's the game that will last you the longest.

Oh, and Ridge Racer. 3D is amazing on it.

HAckNslash with tons of replayvalue/content. If you don't like hackNslash then it's worthless.

I'd say

1. OoT
2. Dead or Alive

That's it.
