The only 2 genres I prefer on portables over consoles are RPG and Fighting. |

I've never played Snake Eater, and although the game looks like a quick and easy port, I would prefer it on 3DS. Not only does it have the appeal of portability, but being able to take a stealth game like that with me? I'm on it.
I wanted to get a Spider-Man game (a good one). I see Edge of Time. Now I could get it for Wii, but I don't want motion controls. And the 360 is my brother's. Enter the 3DS version, which has all of the same content as the PS360/Wii versions and portable. I'm on it.
Same goes for the addition of 3D. It is a nice and unique thing to have, I think. But that's not the point of this topic.

- no dlc (OR P2P DLC)
- no installs (the way i see it, install= mods, if i have to install something and cant install mods then i hate it)
- minimal loading (look at fighting games... jump ultimate stars, bleach blades of fate for example)
- no updates and patches basically everything is already perfect and bug free )

probably, but i hope these features dont come out too soon on these platforms (i know vita will have p2p dlc right off the bat, but i hope nintendo keeps p2p dlc away from the 3ds for atleast another 2 years)
