How long did it take before Virtual Boy was considered a failure?

Did the Virtual Boy also get a price drop after four months?

^ I don't know if the Virtual Boy even lasted four months!
*could be wrong*

When the 3DS fails it will go down like the Dreamcast.

Wow, looks like this is more likely to happen than we all thought just a few days ago.

Why are people comparing the 3DS to the Virtual Boy? The comparison doesn't even make sense.

Virtual Boy:
- Looks like a bulky pair of glasses standing on two thin metal legs.
- Wasn't portable.
- People almost broke their backs trying to look into the Virtual Boy headset to play games.
- The controller layout was ****. TWO DIRECTIONAL PADS??
- It had an cable port for multiplayer, only the cable was never released.

3DS:
- You hold the 3DS in your hands the way God intended.
- Portable.
- Because of how you hold it, there's no chance of your back or next messing up.
- The controller layout is great because it's just like the SNES controller and the DS: Perfect.
- Online or local multiplayer is not a problem. Unless a company chooses not to have it.

The 3DS is clearly infinitely better than the Virtual Boy. I didn't even need to mention specific games to prove the 3DS is better.

Stop with the comparison.

Why? In general, the ones rushing to pour oil on the fire on those little dead fish that finally got water in months. (Water = Price drop news, Dead fish = Anti-Nintendo)
