With the price drop announced, do you regret buying the 3DS early?

I don't, because I can spare the extra cash and I get exclusive downloads from the eShop. I'm not sure if I read correctly, but the "ambassador" downloads expire the day before the price drop right?

Yeah I do, I bought it on a whim because I had a bunch of 21st birthday money left, and it was looking like I might have to use it for rent, so my girlfriend said to use it on something fun before it gets to that. Luckily I'd made a mistake and my rent was nowhere near as much as I thought it was, but I regret taking the money and buying a 3DS. Barring Legend of Zelda and Shadow Wars, every game I've had for it has been crap, or average at best, and the damn thing barely gets used now.

Also, the free games are nice, but I'm probably not going to download the NES ones. Where I'm currently living the Internet has awful speed for downloading things, I can use Xbox Live fine, and browse the internet, but streaming and downloading just takes forever. I'm currently updating the system and it's taken about 20 minutes so far. I'm not gonna waste my time downloading NES games that I'll never play. The GBA games are a nice touch though, I'm looking forward to seeing what all of them are.

Nice. Happy birthday? lol

I said I could spare the extra cash, but technically, I got mine free as well because I use something called a GPT site, but I don't wanna bore people with details.

I don't regret it.

sure we get free gamez so thats cool BUT when I make a decision i always stick to it without any regrets I have money to spend and I didn't want to wait for the price to drop and I knew I was taking a risk but I didn't care.

No. My 3DS came from casino winnings, Blazblue on 3DS is awesome, I finally got to play Link's Awakening DX, and 20 free games.

Not at all. I love my 3DS and was perfectly willing to pay $250 for it. The way I see it, Nintendo is essentially giving me free stuff that I wouldn't have asked for or even considered otherwise simply because I paid more to be an early adopter. Price drops will always happen for every type of technological device that comes out, so it's just a reality of life that the same product will be cheaper six months down the line. That's a reality you deal with as an early adopter. Nintendo's just chosen to give us early adopters a thank you program this time.

And they don't expire before the price drop, you just have to sign into the eShop before the price drop.
