Don't be silly.
First, if you bought a 3DS, then you logically paid what you thought was a fair price for it. You're owed nothing further - you're not being punished. When you buy anything - at all - you buy it in the full knowledge that the price could change in future. You're not being "punished" - you made a transaction willingly.
Secondly, even though early adapters (like yourself, and myself, incidentally) are not entitled to anything as a result of this, we are getting stuff anyway. That's hardly punishment, by any definition.
Thirdly, are you honestly complaining that the free stuff is not going to be available instantly, and that instead you'll have to wait for it? I mean...really? Does it matter that much to you that you get some NES games for free right now instead of having to wait a little bit? |
