I think you should wait a few more years, the 3DS will go down to $100 or something by then.

Agreed, I just couldn't do it at $249. I was planning on waiting until November or December regardless when I have a little extra saved up, but an $80 reduction may push that a month or two ahead now.

I waited for months and finally bought a 3DS just one week ago.

They clearly held out for every last sucker, which was apparently me.

Don't know, but quite honestly, I'm not bothered by the news. I needed the 3DS for a lengthy flight next week, which is why I went out and bought one, so I won't be returning it no matter what.
