This is why I love Nintendo.

Agreed. At least they care to some extent about the people they theoretically screwed. They could've very well have said, "LOL, too bad for you gaiz!" and left it a that.

We get 20 free games, and personally speaking, I've never even played or owned half of them!

I was about to say the same thing about the iPod/iPad. Apple screwed people annually, and makes no amends for it. Nintendo addressed the fallout before it even happened.

Sony: *one week after hack* Uh yeeeaaaah... our accounts got hacked... sorry we didn't tell you earlier but we ... uh... had to go feed the cat... Okay, how about a free trial of our stupid discount thing that no one uses? Oh and you can't keep any games you get for free from it, you have to keep subscribing to play them.

*dodges bricks*

Okay okay! How about getting two of five games that no one cares about or already owns, and the two actually good ones have sequels to them so we're totally not taking this incident and turning it into an advertisement!

Nintendo: Hi guys, 10 free NES games and 10 free GBA games for everyone who bought the system before the drop. :D

idk, I think a breach of an entire network is way worse than a $80 price cut (to the early adopter)--and Sony didn't give 20 free games.

If I were stuck on an island with Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Modern Warfare 2, I would play Super Mario Galaxy 2 first. People who agree: 222

Wow, the Fanboy is strong in you. The PS Plus trial was just a small part of the overall package - and it included early access to Uncharted 3 online beta, too.

Then there were the 5 games each for PS3 and PSP, of which you could choose 2 of (more if you had multiple PSN accounts for whatever reason), and they were all, for the most part, AAA major titles.

You're a funny person.
