Bloomberg Japan reports today that the new 3DS price point means Nintendo will incur a loss on every system sold. Yeah this is pretty standard in the gaming world. Sony and MS are still losing money on their systems. They make up for this first party software sales. Its enough to justify the losses from the hardware.
Nintendo will lose a huge amount of money on the 3DS, but they will also sell a lot of games, so in the end its worth it to them. --- One free month of PSN+, and all I have to do is hand over my personal info to hackers? That sounds like a sweet deal, where do I sign? -- 3DS 1504-5688-7256
