I've been wanting to get an iPod touch for a long time now, mainly for a portable web browser and stuff like that. But at $170 I can't pass up a 3DS, which I have also been wanting.

I know it can't display Flash videos or something like that, but how is regular web browsing? Is it easy to do and displayed well? How fast is it? Etc.

Kind of slow compared to...whatever other device one would use to browse the web, but its not as bad as the browser on the DS/Lite (which was on a cart, like a game) or the DSi browser. It works well enough, I'd say.

I consider it much more practical than the DSi's. The DSi's was slow and always ran out of space to load pages.
I have an Ipod, and I'd say they both have about the same speed.

It is abysmal. Get an iPod Touch if portable web browsing is the deciding factor.

Yes, available at your favourite brick-and-mortar retailer.

It's prettt functional, but it seems intentionally limited since it is supposed to be usable while games are running. I'm always using it here on GameFAQs.

Yes. But it required you to have a memory expansion cart in the GBA slot, was discontinued in North America in 2007 aside from online orders, and (if you can believe it) it was 2x worse than the DSi browser. I could essentially grab a snack while Gamefaqs was loading, for example.

It's a pretty slow process to type with a stylus.
