Iwata decided to lower the price of the 3DS because it lacked in sales. The $250 price was a bit steep, but I didn't mind too much. What really bothered me was the region lock. WTH? I understand why Nintendo used region lock but I think that's an even greater issue to some potential buyers than the price itself.

being that I only got my 3DS for 13 bucks, plus the 50 dollar pre order down payment, i'm not complaining.

you may have only paid $63 in cash for a 3DS, but i imagine you traded in games/systems for credit? Those cost currency at one time too...

Why did you title this topic "iwatas worries", when really "i hate region lock" would've been alot more fitting?
