They should have ended with "Oh, it's 3D too."

If I were stuck on an island with Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Modern Warfare 2, I would play Super Mario Galaxy 2 first. People who agree: 222

Lol. Now if only the other branches of Nintendo got the message. 3DS has a chance - they need to drastically re-do their marketing.

More importantly, as I saw someone say elsewhere - they NEED to differentiate the pricing on games. Steel Diver could have been an eShop download. Super Monkey Ball could've been an eShop download. As this person said - Apple's existence has proven one thing to consumers - some games are worth just a dollar or two. And these games need to stop being sold for $40.

Nintendo is talking about how they're moving into the digital arena - speed up with the demos! Put more games on the eShop (especially those that don't deserve to be sold at full retail)! All of these things need to be done for 3DS to succeed.

"State of the art online functionality" was kind of funny.

But yeah definitely the commercial they should have started with.

That is actually a great commercial. You can tell Nintendo is getting serious.

And yet this is the marketing they put on TV

Good job there Nintendo, further alienating your audience!

I don't know how Nintendo messed up their marketing for 3DS. Their advertising for the Wii and NDS was on the next level and put Sony to shame. Now it's trash and confusing.

3DS is finished.

Perfect caucasian families painfully trying to look like they were having "a whacky time" on awful games in the most sterile white environment was the next level?

Yup NOA definitely needs to take a lesson from NOE marketing. Want new hardware to sell well? then beat that message home!
