Wait a minute. The ambassador program games won't work with system transfer?

So that means if a new model or better color of 3DS comes out, or in the unfortunate case that the 3DS breaks, the user is out of luck and can't recover the games.

That... sounds kind of dumb IMO.

They'll have something set up, eventually.

I hope. :/

What's that system transfer good for anyway? Just DLC?

Once it comes out, it will allow users to transfer everything from their original 3DS to the new one. Streetpass info, downloaded games and content, system configurations, etc. Your new 3DS will be an exact replica of your old one (which will probably revert to factory default afterwards). That's why I'm surprised about the ambassador program games - they really should transfer with everything else. Dunno what Nintendo was thinking when they made that decision.

Unless of course I'm misinterpreting the whole thing.
