Doom is far different from mediocrity, which the GCN and N64 achieved. And I would love for the 3DS to fail, but I don't see "doom" like the Virtua Boy.

I recall the price being cut to $129 just 9 months after launch. Even then, I don't think the system sold all that well, until Mario Kart DS and NSMB were released. |

It's kinda hard to find stuff like that now though, and it's been a while, lol. But yeah, DS was launched in 2004. I didn't even really hear about it until 2006, after NSMBDS.
