Sure everyone has eyes on Nintendo because of spectacular decisions but EA, Sega, Sony among other are also in trouble, is this because we're on the end of a cycle or because gamers habits are changing greatly ?
I've passed on buying a lot of different games because they seemed like half the game for $60 then you're bled for the rest of it as dlc at $10 a pop. That's certainly a bad trend that was set by this console generation.
Regardless of higher development costs, it the consumer feels ripped off or squeezed when they actually do buy a game, their not going to buy as often.
If Platinum was HAND drawn, she'd be on paper, fool. This is a video game. They just made her on screen, no "drawing" involved -Delano7 on BlazBlue
because every one is buying the same game each year and if you dont like this years version of EA FPS, Microsoft FPS , Sony FPS, Activision FPS or Valve FPS you have... nothing really, everything else that's a "must buy" is on a 1 1/2 to 2 year cycle such as Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed or Bioshock
from what i can tell Nintendo gets hit the hardest for "making the same game" but does it the least .
