Is the new Paper Mario another port?

I watched the ad finally, and because all of the games are so similar, I was positive it was a port, but then he went somewhere that made me think it wasn't... so is it original?

Next question, is the Super Mario Land a port? Or new?

Lol, I did know that, just based on the ad. :3 But I appreciate the thought. I'm trying to think if I have any more questions about Ports... but I don't.

Paper Mario is set for 2012
Mario Kart for December
and Mario Land for November... Right?
