We always have ds games to fall back to.

I've been playing Chrono Trigger DS lately. About time I finally beat that game.

I'm pretty sure the op meant using DS games to tide us over until the more desirable 3DS games come out. Think of it as a temporary fix. Or, you know, you could just switch to a different system. Not like the 3DS is the only one in existence.

This, seriously. There have been so many amazing games this year across all platforms (except Wii xfd) that by only focusing on what the 3DS doesn't have just yet, you're missing out on what other systems do

but that doesn't make any sense. why would you buy a 3ds and then try to make up for the lack of games buy buying never experienced games on other systems? i specifically want 3ds games to play, because that was the whole point of buying it in the first place.

Well they're coming, just eventually. It was pretty obvious that the system was gonna be off to a slow start from the beginning, but it sounds like you went ahead and bought it anyway. It sounds like you might have been better off waiting until the end of the year to purchase it

I bought my 3DS to play 3DS games and DS games (since it replaced my DSi), there are a lot of titles I haven't played that I want to get.

Oh and DeathSoul2000 and J_pheonix I thought you both would be happy if the 3DS was able to play old games (N64), but you're both not happy with playing DS games on it?

I'm busy playing SNES games right now actually! :D
I am on my yearly play through of Canvas Curse, but that's about it. I enjoy the larger touch screen though.

Stop making sense. People are trying to bash everything Nintendo does without thinking. Go somewhere else. - Mattperd, about the 3DS boards.
