I assume with them providing the cradle, they encourage you to set it on there whenever you're not using it. I know it says that after 500 charges you might start seeing less and less playtime. From my understanding the 500 charges are complete cycles so I'm thinking I should be good for 1.5-2yrs before buying a new battery.

Do you put it back on the cradle whenever you're not playing it or only when it runs down to less than half battery life or something else?

just keep it charing.

don't let li-on batteries die or drain out.
