Been trying to get a 3ds and the ambassador program seems interesting. Is it worth trading in my dsi for a 3ds at gamestop before the price drop (I already have a dslite) or should I just wait till after the drop?
Go for it, dood! The 3DS kicks so many asses. And if you have a DS lite, it's great. --- I'm clever, vaguely feminine, a vampire, and I wield Dice. PH33R. The DS and PSP are both outstanding systems. Wally the Equality Weasel says so.
If you don't have any DSiWare games worth transferring over, and trading in your DSi can actually discount a new or used 3DS close to the price after the price drop, I say go for it. --- Next Let's Play: TBA http://www.youtube.com/user/DTFaux
Anyway, whether you should buy it later depends on whether you think the 20 retro games are worth $80. Considering the 10 that have been revealed so far are high quality, I'd recommend you buy now, as long as you haven't played some of them yet. --- Best 2D Mario game: Mario vs. Donkey Kong.

So far the only ass it's managed to kick was it's own.
@TC, go for the DSi, it'll be less than the 3DS and has all the features needed. Let the 3D thing pass and see if Nintendo can make something better. --- The Queen of the Wyverns http://sydney-rathian.deviantart.com/ (NSFW)

Then why make the topic, just skim the ones around and see how bad the 3DS is and make the informed decision to keep the i and get the last few great DS games (Kirby Mass Attack, Solatorobo, Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, etc.) --- The Queen of the Wyverns http://sydney-rathian.deviantart.com/ (NSFW)
