Still no eShop cards in Canada (or at least, my city)

Getting pretty fed up with this thing. The drastic price drop, the cancellations, the dropping third party support. I was thinking at least the DSiware could have kept me occupied until some more games came out for it, but I CAN'T EVEN BUY THEM.

All of Canada is in the same boat as you.

It's probably my largest complaint at this point.

Dragon Lord is right, and as of now nothing has been said as to the status of Canadian availability of the cards.

I'm assuming Nintendo will have something this simple under wraps by the end of the year, but yeah... Really dropped the ball on this one. Especially since we never had to wait for Wii/DSi cards.

Just so you don't go grabbing an American one by some means.

They won't work with your 3DS.

Don't worry.. Europe still didn't get them either.

To make matters worse, Nintendo of Europe doesn't REALLY know WHEN the cards will be released.. People called and mailed them and everybody got the responses like: 'Between September (2011) and March (2012)

Yes that's right.. Nintendo actually dared to mention first quarter of NEXT YEAR.. WHAT the FUDGE?!

1 year after the initial release.. .. .. Who would have thought.. .. .. X(

Yeah, it is a pain in the butt. I looked at a bunch of places here in New Brunswick and couldn't find them anywhere. Fortunately, I do have a credit card so I just used that instead. On that note, you can always get one of those pre-paid Visa or Mastercards and use that instead, although I think there are some minor fees associated with it.

I don't think they're minor fees when you have to pay like an extra 15% to activate the card.

It's better than using a prepaid credit card which has a $20 activiation fee, $3 loading fee, $1.50 fee for every time you buy something online, $1.50 fee for loading it with your debit card, $12.50 fee for every month you have money still on the card (less than $12.50 and they just take all of it), oh my GOD.

I just spent $24 buying Blayzbloo and 10 Second Run.
