I thought I read somewhere (can't remember where, or even if it was just my imagination) that A Link to the Past was going to eventually be a 3D Classic.
Does anyone else know anything about this?

Miyamoto has expressed great interest in making it a 3D classic, but no official confirmation has been given on whether Nintendo will do that or not.

I think a 3D version was shown to the press at e3?

Either way it looks less and less likely. Converting to 3D appears to be a bit of a ballache for both of the people Nintendo have assigned to do the 3D classics.

What Miyamoto wants, Miyamoto gets. Nintendo learned this lesson with Pikmin.
