Hahahaha.
What about ROM? Read only memory?
EEPROM? Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only memory?
PROM?
EPROM?
Flash Memory?

RAM is just a kind of memory that's extremely fast, and goes away after the electricity is cut.

Memory refers to RAM.
What TC (and everyone else) means is storage space.

The 3DS comes with a 2 GB memory card and about 2 GB of built in memory on the 3DS itself. However, most of the built in memory is used for applications and the firmware, leaving about 540 MB of memory for you to use as you wish.

There's no internal memory. That 2 gig card is it >_>

There IS internal memory, and dsiware uses it.

10 NES games and 10 GBA games will only take up a fraction of your 2GB SD card. They should only take up around 1/16th of your SD card. You won't need to upgrade SD cards for a long time.
I can't wait for Super Mario 3D, Mario Kart 3D, Paper Mario 3D, Luigi's Mansion 2,
Kid Icarus: Uprising, Kirby Mass Attack, Kirby Wii, and Skyward Sword!

The DSi has 256 MB of internal flash memory. I believe the 3DS has the same amount available for DSiware.

We were talking about "Memory", however, and not "Read only memory" or "Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only memory" or Flash Memory", otherwise we would have said so.
