I agree with TC. It's funny because when you play DSiware games, the volume gets extra loud. This makes me think that the 3DS is capable of higher volumes, but the games simply don't use it. --- Wait I got it! In some places it seems fine but most of the time it is too low for my taste. I would have liked them to make it louder. People can always turn the volume down, but I can't go higher than max if it is too quiet... :( --- "To hell with your spoiled baby! Zoidberg needs those shoes!"

I came from a ds lite and I think the 3DS's volume is just fine.

I bought a 3DS and couldn't even hear the L and R notes in Ocarina of Time. I took it back to the store to find out it was indeed defective. If you are having problems hearing notes in OoT 3D or you notice that your sound seems abnormally low, it could be defective. --- Single and multiplayer video game highscore competition - over 450 games - www.cyberscore.me.uk
Yeah I'm having to use headphones most of the time. But I just started using Netflix and the volume there was nice; just loud enough. It seems that only the preinstalled apps and stuff like the main menu have a low default volume. I've only had it for a day so far so I don't know about the volume on the game cartridges.
I'll try setting it to Stereo though, that sounds like it'll help, ty. --- AKA: Zetro, RZetro, Zetro-X ::::: LBP2, Conduit2: 1163-0063-7578 Wii: 3243-5366-6626-7303 ::: PSN: Zetro-X
