I can't confirm nor deny, but at least according to target.com the price is still 250.

That's really no fair to the early adopters that paid the original price.

No, John, unfortunately we don't have a code for "There's a man in my closet with a gun to my daughter's head." Although we obviously should.

It's perfectly fair for early adopters. If you paid $250 fora 3Ds with no promise of the roms, then you got what you paid for. Nintendo is just being nice to throw you some measly scraps (and that really sums up the offer for old ass untouched roms)

It IS unfair for the dupes that paid $250 after the announced price drop and were told the extra $80 was the only way to get the dog scraps, though

So far no places I actually shop at have pulled this move, so that's all well.
Don't even have to get all huffed and decide to never buy games from them again.

over 250$ worth of software in the form of the 20 roms, is dog scraps? Nice try...

Blame Nintendo. WTF did you expect? Consumers to sit there and wait for the price drop and retailers to wait too? they will make more sales by reducing the cost right away. Nintendo can't do anything. IF you're angry be angry at Nintendo.

Where the hell did you get $250 from? Also you assume people would pay for all those games. I'd say $70-80 in terms of their VC cost.
