It's very hard for me to stomach how washed out my Pokemon White version looks on my 3DS, and I fear that the GBA games will look bad too --- i don't believe that Elvis is dead, yeah

They don't look "washed out" to me. A little fuzzy, but it's trying to upscale them and it's impossible to do that perfectly given the different resolutions.
Actually, I dare say they look MORE colorful than on my DS. Only a little, but still.
You CAN play DS games (and GB(C) games you buy off the eShop) at their original resolutions, you know. Oh, they'll be smaller than the screens, but they won't be as fuzzy. --- Creator of Jay's Journey (see quote!) "It's not ten years old! Therefore, it sucks!" - Nostalgia whores everywhere

They may be rendered at 3ds resolution, simce they will be emulated. We will just have to wait and see if nintendo does this however. --- One day, Nintendo decided to put Mario into the world of Metroid. Alas, he was no match for the mighty Geemer.

I see no issue with the ds games on my 3ds. Not an issue for me.

What do u mean? DS games look fine on mine ( the graphics suck anyway, so why care? ) --- How does Paper Mario even stand up?
