You're claiming that pushing rubber against plastic causes scratches. That's confusing as it is.

No, good sir, I was talking exclusively about the hard plastic bordering the bottom screen. :o

EDIT: For some reason I remember you being a girl, but I don't know if that's true and I was worried you would think "m'lady" was some kind of insult, so I changed it. :(

YOU brought that up.

True enough. You can tell 11:00 is when I get incoherent.

Where did you get the idea that I was a girl...?

I actually didnt notice mine until my mom pointed it out on her iPod Touch saying people are complaining and I looked and I seen the scratch I'm like ooooh crap. Normally my systems are in great condition not even a scratch even after a good 4 years but this is getting me nervous and i cant send it in, lack of moolah :(

I instinctively said "m'lady," drawing from some vague memory that told me you were. I don't know; I actually don't even know who you are. xD

That's what I find strange. Well, as they say, assume makes an ass out of you and me.

Though, if you think about it, why is it any less an assumption to call you a man?

Yeah, true. Anyway, I see it as smudges cannot become scratches and people need to stop killing themselves over the whole situation.
