Didn't they promise us that we'd know the Ambassador games before the deadline?

I recall seeing that article somewhere...

They should add a free Metroid: Zero Mission for Metroid 25th Anniversary (not part of Ambassador). Or at least the original Metroid.

I don't see them giving us Metroid Fusion AND Metroid First Mission.

^^ Why not? The already-announced games have multiple Mario titles, why not two Metroid titles?

Because Mario is Mario.

I hope they release original Metroid for NES tbh, I'm already hyped as all hell to play Fusion to death as it's the only non-handheld metroid I haven't tried, and I loved the original Metroid, and it's an anniversary, so why not? It'd make more sense for them TO release it that it would for them not to, so...

The information came from Nintendo of America customer service, who were also the ones to confirm Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and Super Mario Advance 4 before they were actually confirmed (note that this does not mean the latter two games are out, just disconfirmed until further notice).

So guess they were wrong again.

Rumors are not the same thing as promising us that they would tell us the rest of the Ambassador games. This is why companies get in trouble with release dates, because someone see's a rumor date and assumes that's the actual release date and spreads it around the internet. Then when that day passes or the company announces a later release date, people get mad and say that they lied when they didn't.

It's not a rumor. It was information given when contacting Nintendo of America customer support.

That article says "On or before the 12th". Today is the 12th, so it still has several hours before it's wrong.
