why do people feel ripped off by the price cut

I bought a 3DS on launch day.

I couldn't wait to play the 3DS. I was wowed by the glasses free 3D (it still feels like some sort of sorcery, lol).

That, my friends, has a price.

Why do people go see a movie in the theatre instead of waiting for it to be shown for free on TV or for cheap in netflix? Why do people go to concerts instead of watching some other concert of the same band on TV?

It is the same reason. Sometimes desire and joy has a price. Some people wanted to have the system right now. Besides, I ambassadors get free games.

I bought my 3DS on June 1st, and I don't mind.

I'm clever, vaguely feminine, a vampire, and I wield Dice. PH33R.
The DS and PSP are both outstanding systems. Wally the Equality Weasel says so.

Because you don't expect a price cut this early on.

Oh boy, free games that I already played before and can get on any functional computer made since 1995?
Wowzers, that sure does make up for a price drop 5 months after release!

Given that you can do that for pretty much any modern game made, I guess that means EVERYONE is ripping us off by charging us ANYTHING! Those greedy jerks! We must revolt! And cry!

Last time I checked you couldn't emulate a PS3 or a 360.
And the main point is that such a fast price cut is completely ridiculous. Nintendo realizes this, but gives very little compensation that comes off as insulting.

20 free games=very little compensation...

Ok, sure.

And while you may have played these games before, not everyone has. For example, me.

Some used to call me Inferior. Others call me PK Ike. But you can just call me Ike.
