I didnt either. Welcome to nintendo's awesome message system where I literally think they have people in a sweatshop manually sending these out one by one.

Nintendo is so far behind the competition in everything related to online.

One free month of PSN+, and all I have to do is hand over my personal info to hackers? That sounds like a sweet deal, where do I sign? -- 3DS 1504-5688-7256

There was a message briefly, it was deleted at midnight. As long as you updated the firmware or visited the shop the official price drop, you should be in.

If I'm reading others' posts correctly, it wasn't sent to specific people, but instead, everybody. The "News" in the shop goes to all 3DS owners. It was pulled shortly after it showed up (I didn't see one at all).

They'll probably end up sending something via the Notifications to tell you that you're in, as that can go to specific people.

It was there for days. Maybe even a week? It was only removed when the deadline was reached, so that non-ambassadors wouldn't be told they're ambassadors.

What I don't understand is why people can't just get it that if they've been on the eShop before the deadline, then that alone IS the notification that you're an ambassador.

I mean, if you save a file on your PC, that's already been saved, you press save, and just assume it's been saved. You don't wait for a message saying "Your document has been saved."

They didn't send a clear out message to everyone saying "Congratulations, you are an Ambassador" or anything. They just had a little note about it on the Eshop before the last update.

Apparently, they'll have a way for you to check if you are an Ambassador or not soon.
