Just playing the demo on the Wii doesn't even touch on the game. It's actually very deep, with tons of variables on which pokemon have what abilities and attacks. It has almost infinite replayability because it will take forever to unlock everything.

The worst part is that it can get repetitive after a bit, which can be said of most games, but this being a beat 'em up style game makes it more so.

The first one is excellent and the 2nd is looking to be even better. Better story, all Pokemon are in it, shinies if you care about that, 3D (tmk), excellent gameplay, etc.

I do think a lot of people are just judging it by a quick glance and the fact its not a 'mainstream' Pokemon title. Which isn't really fair to the game. Be open-minded. Try new things. You never know, you may like it!

I WANT IT NOW. I agree it shouldn't get a bad rap. also @ whoever said its shallow of course it is its a spin off AND a beat em up.

I played the crap out of the Wii versions but I won't be paying full price for this game. The stage design is lackluster and leaves a lot to be desired. Battle system is ok, but not the greatest either.

That charge mode thing with all the pokemon running looks rather interesting though. May get it after a couple price drops or buy it used.

Wait, what? The WiiWare game was decent fun, but it was far from excellence. The presence of Pokemon a good game does not necessarily make. It was overpriced, lacking in content, and repetitious. I enjoyed it for what it was, but if all we're getting with this 3DS game is more of the same, I can't imagine how a WiiWare game that was already overpriced could be a decent value at $40.

No hate, just hesitation and confusion.

The first had awesome gameplay, but that was it....the level design, the "story", the variety of levels (or lack thereof), the non-existent leveling up, crappy stat system, etc.

If they fixed most of those obvious problems, game should be fantastic.

Can't wait to play: Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Pokemon Rumble Blast, Tales of the Abyss, Paper Mario.

Because it doesn't sound worth 40 dollars.

The game is nice, for a downloadable title. But I don't feel like the dropping the money for a full on cartridge game.

Because when compared to Nintendo's other titles being released this year, PRB is laughable. Personally, I'm kinda peeved that they give us a firm release date for a game that nobody really cared about (not saying it's bad), yet they just give us the vague "Holiday 2011" for games like Kid Icarus and Skyward Sword.
