I'm trying to connect to Phantasy Star Zero through my 3ds and it doesn't appear to have any options for WPA security, any idea what I can do!?:<>:<>:

DS games use the DS connection capabilities. If the DS couldn't connect to it, a DS game in a 3DS can't either. Not sure if that helps since I can't remember what the DS could connect to.

tl;dr from that thread WPA is not compatible for PS Zero. I linked you there not to be an ass, but because I was not sure, either. Good to know, I'm never getting WPA. :)

DS games use the old ass WEP wireless security.

The only way to play a DS game is to switch the encryption on your router. Although WEP is extremely unsecure, and can be broken into within minutes.

you would have this problem on a regular ds. all you can do is change your settings on the wireless router. to wep and use that. That or not play that game online. DS games don't have better securtiy and the 3ds won't fix that.

Well, It seem you have two options:

1. Change your router security setting to whatever it is that works with the 3DS/game.

2. Buy one of these:

Option 2 is more expensive.
Now we know...

Check if your router supports multiple networks.

I have a WEP (not currently in use) and WPA2 network setup.
