Nintendo with colors and names

Ever notice how Nintendo almost never reuses a color name again (or for that matter, the exact same color)?

I'm lazy, so this won't be a complete list (I'm gonna limit it to recurring colors):

Ice Blue Game Boy Pocket
Teal Game Boy Color (Is teal blue or green or what?)
Glacier Game Boy Advance
Cobalt Game Boy Advance SP
Pearl Blue Game Boy Advance SP
Electric Blue DS
Cobalt/Black DS Lite
Metallic Blue DSi (not available in North America?)
Light Blue DSi (not available in North America?)
Midnight Blue DSiXL
Aqua Blue 3DS

Play It Loud Red
Red Game Boy Pocket
Berry Game Boy Color (closest thing?)
Flare Red Game Boy Advance SP
Some Mario Red Game Boy Advance SP
Mother 3 Red Game Boy Micro
Mario Kart Red DS
Crimson/Black DS Lite
Red DSi (not available in North America?)
Mario Red DSiXL
Flare Red 3DS

Arctic White Game Boy Advance
Polar White DS Lite
White DSi (I don't think they're called Polar)

Play It Loud Black Game Boy
Onyx Black Game Boy Advance SP
Black Game Boy Micro
Onyx Black DS Lite
Matte Black DSi

An exception to this would be Indigo and Platinum. Indigo is Indigo and Platinum is Platinum (you can argue that there's the occasional Silver here and there).

So what's next? Ice Cap White 3DS? Metroid Ice 3DS? I don't even know.

Next they should be bringing back the GBC Atomic Purple for the 3DS instead of going glossy and reflective. Late 90s style see-through purple plastic. Oh yeah.

Yeah, that was like the only good GBC color.

Metroid Ice would be see-through too (hopefully bundled with a good 3DS Metroid game!).

Nope they're re-using Flare Red, it was also the name of the red SP

Second Chances sure are great. It's nice to be back, GameFAQs.

Oh yeah. I did say almost never, though. Updated OP that no one will read.

Sounds good. But then the idiots from IGN will claim that Nintendo is copying iMacs again.

QFT. I love my Aqua Blue 3DS, but I'd probably buy another one if they released the Atomic Purple. Why don't people like seeing the insides of their electronics anymore?

I like how they completely ignored the fact that the first clear Game Boy came out in 1995 when they tried to say Apple started the clear plastic fad in 1998 with the iMac. Silly IGN.
