Even if you hate IGN

Have to admit, they make some valid arguments here:

Atleast they're supporting the system for once.

Give it a few days and IGN will make some stupid article about it.

The Keyword is once since I'm more then positive they'll go back to bashing it all over again.

Also I really hope more people knew the comparisons were silly anyhow.

Reading that article has led me to the assumption that Hell has just frozen over.

Again, IGN doesn't just hate on Nintendo. Scratch that - IGN Nintendo doesn't. Audrey wrote an article about how people should buy 3DS before the price drop, there was another article about how amazing the eShop is, they routinely praise the games, etc.

Yeah, they call it out when Nintendo isn't in proper shape - so what? And that guy who wrote the article about Revelations being too big for a handheld noted in the comments that yes, he wouldn't want it on Vita either. That's his personal opinion on handhelds in general.

I haven't seen an article from the IGN Nintendo team outright attack Nintendo yet.

A long time ago, an EB Games near me was selling a Virtual Boy and ALL of its games (including the Japanese ones) for $80. In retrospect, I should have taken that for collection value alone.

But yes, 3DS is clearly nothing like Virtual Boy. In one day it was more successful than Virtual Boy ever was.
