Mega Man Legends 3 was cancelled for very good reasons.

As much as I would have liked to have it NOT be cancelled. Quite frankly, no one buys Mega Man games anymore. ZX, Advent, and Star Force 3 have experienced dwindling sales, and clearly, the management did not feel that there was enough profit margin to be had.

Granted, this is Capcom, but just because they're scummy and only care about money does not make them wrong to cancel it.

Starforce and ZX/advent were sequels of a popular series. I think people had enough of those series.

megaman 9 and 10

I thought 9 and 10 did pretty well. I didn't like how they were released so damn close together though.

megaman 9 and 10

Mega Man 9 and 10 were moderately successful as digital downloads, with relatively low risk involved. This is a retail release on a platform that, at the time, was in a bad way.

Actually, I'm not sure how successful 10 was. For whatever reason, I'm getting that it was decidedly less-so.

starforce 3 selling less than the previous versions was to be expected, considering they cut off 1/3rd of their potential customers.

i was lucky enough to know a game store that also sells imported games.

I'm talking in terms of Japanese sales for 3, actually.

Like I said, they were released too closely together.

No, it wasn't cancelled for a very good reason. MML2 came out more than 10 years ago and Capcom's expectactions from the fanbase for MML3 was just unrealistic.
