Is the 3ds worth $100 in your opinion and why?

No! I'm still searching for bargains at the dollar store!

It's not worth as much as a DS Lite, since GBA+DS library+the incredible battery life and non-blurry screen>DS+3DS library+3 hour battery and the really bad screen, IMO.

Yes, it is, because I don't like the hardware. I accept that the 3DS could have some great games in the future, but that doesn't justify selling outdated hardware for a $70 profit.

Non-blurry screens? :/
3DS has more pixel density.

So the games coming out in the future count for nothing? Future potential adds value to any product.

IT COSTS 101 FOR THE MATERIALS. that doesn't include paying workers making a profit covering R&D etc. they are possibly taking a loss at 170$.

And yet the screen is blurrier. They must have screwed up the implementation.
If the 3DS Lite's screen fixes whatever problem Nintendo created with the 3DS's screen and battery life, then it would definitely be worth $100 or $120.
