Shadow Wars or DOA?

I don't have a lot of preference as to the type of gameplay, just want to know which one will last longer/is worth the money the most.

No preference? Then flip a coin or something, I don't know.

DOA seems to be the popular one. As a fighting game with tons of content and online capabilities, the game has infinite replayability. I don't have either games, so you don't have to take my word for it.

If you like fight games more, get DOA.

If you like RPGs more, get Shadow Wars.

If you have no preference, get both.

Well I can only get one and I'm not partial to either specific genre.
Basically which one is a better representative of it's respective genre?

Probably DOA. I don't think Shadow Wars will go down in history as RPG's finest moment. While I doubt that is also the case of DOA, but DOA (the series at least) is probably in the top 5 or top 10 most respected fighting game in it's genre.

I have and love both.

The longer one that requires thought is shadow wars.

Doa is fantastic in short, mindless, 20 min bursts and
offers graphics and effects that will blow your mind.

You cant go wrong with either, but if youre looking for
wow factor, youre looking for doa.

The mod training video needs to be longer and much more detailed.

I have found DOA to be alot more fun than SSF4, mainly cause almost anyone can get into DOA, while for SSF4, you must memorize moves and be hardcore, DOA, you can get into quicker than you can with SSF4.

DoA's online is excellent, and the game-play mechanics don't take very long to get used to.

It might not be your game if you prefer a lot of offline content, though.

Shadow Wars has mediocre graphics, presentation, and sound, but the gameplay is a solid 9/10. it's very fun and strategic, akin to Fire Emblem and Advance Wars. it would have been rated a bit higher if it were released for the DS, as was originally intended.
