I may have ruined the value of my 3ds but I couldn't stand thumb sliding off...

so I decided improve the slider by super gluing a fabric material to it. It actually does wonders and is a huge improvement.

Doesn't it rub against your top screen now when you close your 3DS?

it's not very thick and is to the left of the screen and below the speaker. my 3ds still closes fine.

I like the feel of the 3DS analogue nub, it's very soft and smooth compared to the PSP one.

I thought you were going to say you ripped it off and replaced it with an arcade joystick ot something.

I wouldn't have gone that far but still think super gluing fabric to slider is extreme and ruins it's value.

Every 3DS I've tried has a different feel. My thumb slides off my Circle Pad, but my mom's feels friggin' perfect.

I see you have a battery pack. How's that working out for you?

the battery pack works great. As I'm playing, I just use the the 3ds battery until the red light starts flashing and then just need push the switch on the pack and can keep playing. If the pack charges without playing, it will get the lds back to full. But charging will playing will only give back half the life time.

I like the smooth circle pad, my thumb doesn't slide off of it at all. I hate how the 360 has those stupid bumps on them that are not even soft, so they dig into your fingers when playing. It gets rather painful to play for long periods of time cause of that.
