Can I be better in SSF4 AE if I buy SSF4 3D and practice with it?

Because I can't bring my home console everywhere? Is it a viable reason to buy N3Ds so I can practice SSF4 when I am not home?

I am a pad player but I can also play on an arcade stick.

One main problem is that your moves function differently, even if only slightly in, in AE than they did is SSF4. Various buffs, nerfs, and other changes lead to inconsistencies is what you'd do in-game and how the characters react. =/ But it could be helpful for beginner to intermediate stuff.

I'm no expert on the scenario.
