Red 3DS coming in September

#1abbyhitterPosted 8/21/2011 4:09:34 PM
I haven't bought a 3DS yet because I am waiting on the red one. I have seen people post on here that say that the top screen gets scratched or smudged when folded down in the closed position. I was wondering if Nintendo was going to slightly alter the design (give it higher bumpers) of the red one to help fix this problem.

If Nintendo doesn't fix this, what are some possible ways to fix it yourself?

Get a screen protector like everyone else.

I keep an eye glasses cloth folded up in mine every time I close it. I can also easily wipe dust off.

pull some rubber feet off something you have laying around and use two on the top half to create a cushion.

1. Screen Protectors. I had a set ready to go when the 3DS launched (permanent lines have since set in on the top Screen Protector, but better than the actual screen), and I have a set arriving tomorrow for my Virtual Boy 3DS when it gets here in September.
