Heavy Fire: Afghanistan - The Chosen Few is a Modern First-Person Shooter game, published by Mastiff, scheduled to be released in 2011. So says the "Description on the Heavy Fire page here at GFAQs. Does anyone know anything else about this game?

Hm. I can't find any other site that acknowledges the existence of a 3DS version.

Yeah, Mastiff has a reputation for not promoting/advertising the games the publish. I just emailed them asking for any kind of info or screen shots (asked about Moon 2 as well). There's nothing one their website about Heavy Fire. I haven't even heard who is developing it....

Mastiff... Didn't they publish one of Renegade Kid's titles? Was it Moon? I know Gamec**k (can I type that without being modded?) published Dementium: The Ward, and I'm not to sure who published Dementium II, but I don't think it was Mastiff.

You are correct. Gamecock published Dementium: The Ward, Mastiff did Moon and SouthPeak (who absorbed Gamecock) did Dementium 2. This is how I come to find out about Heavy Fire. I was looking for Mastiff's website, so I looked them up here at GFAQs through Moon.

Mastiff published Moon, for which I am thankful, but they did diddly squat to advertise or promote the game. The same goes for the other games they've published. I don't think we would have ever heard about Heavy Fire, it would have just appeared on the shelves one day.

As for typing "Gamecock," I got this message before posting:

Using "cock" as slang for male genatalia will likely make your post fall under the "Offensive Posting" rule of the TOS.

I used to hang out on a few Star Wars message boards a few years back and from time to time, I found myself needing to type the word "cockpit," obviously, referring to the part of a ship where the pilot sits. I would get this message then too, but I think "cockpit" eventually got de-flagged.

I'm very tempted to write a series of puns using the C-word... but keeping in mind the notorious lack of humor among the mods I best keep it safe and not do it :P

I still haven't heard back from Mastiff, but it hasn't even been 24 hours. Hopefully, they'll give us more info.
