When does the Ambassadors' download ticket expire?

#1NintendoBoy259Posted 8/23/2011 7:11:25 AM
Say I don't want to download any games right away...how long does the offer stand?

I guess what I'm asking is, are we able to download any NES game, or only the first ten they release? And GBA?

Yeah, I mean, video games are cool....

You don't get to pick which 10 NES games, but the 'ticket' does not expire.

We're sure that you can't pick. We're not sure what duration they will be available for.

IF they choose to make it expire, it hasn't had a date set yet. And even if they do, I bet you that the day after it expires you'll have people complaining that they didn't get it in time because they waited until the last minute.

It won't expire, people. Nintendo's online shops have always had it where, if they have you as owning a game you will be able to redownload it for free at any time, as many times as you want.

My guess for when it might expire is when the games are released to the non-ambassadors.

Otherwise I don't think it ever will.

If you downloaded something, yes, you can re-downloaded it. The free offer however, could expire much like the welcome back package on PSN if they chose to do so. All of those games are still on PSN, and everyone who got the games during the allotted time can re-download them, but to grab them the first time as free is long gone.

I dont know there is always some type of Expiration date on anything. i assume they just havent disclosed it yet. i would assume it would be a year to actually download it at least once (so its on their file)

I would certainly hope we get download the games one by one. i mean how will people who may have filled their 3ds memory and not be able to download it. Plus i would assume there will be some people who may not like some games and may not want to download it. I mean if i dont like a game why would i want it on my 3ds?
