Just had a really frustrating moment with the power button.

I was playing through Zelda OoT for the 3rd time, and started on and beat Jabu Jabu's Belly. I've always disliked that dungeon and found it very annoying. So I'm happy that I beat it. I exit out of Zora's Domain, and I accidentally tap the power button.

Much to my surprise that even just tapping the power button "closes" the software... WHAT THE #&@% Really? It doesn't pause the software like pressing home does, it completely closes it. It doesn't turn the system off completely, but it gives you the option to go to the Home Menu or power off. What is the point of that!?!?! Why can't it let you go back to your game??

I really hope Nintendo make a firmware update that changes that.

Sadly everyone here is gonna say it's your fault for pushing down the button for too long, Nintendo is never at fault it seems. I agree it's pretty stupid, the power button is also inconsistent in how long you have to hold it to get it to turn off. Sometimes it's instant and other times it takes 5 seconds.

I just can't believe there's an option that doesn't turn the system off, but keeps it on in a state that cancels out your game. If I had held the button down I would totally feel that it was my fault, but I pressed it for maybe 1 full second (I thought I was pressing "start").

Nintendo could totally fix this in a future update though, I hope they notice this issue.
