What can I do about the "grainy" 3ds camera?

I don't even think the DSi's camera was like this.

Just pretend the 3DS doesn't have a camera.

Not much. The 3DS's cameras are a lot worse than even the DSi's. However, turning on 'low light mode' should reduce the noise, but then the cameras will be much more prone to motion blur(hold it still), and your pictures will appear lighter.

The only think I've seen is make sure their is adequate light, which is quite a lot of light for the 3DS.

Use better lighting

Yeah, use good lighting. Come on, Nintendo could have put in a plody 1.3 or 2 megapixel camera. No, I don't use it much, but when I do, it's reasonable but still an annoying thing.

The 3DS camera isn't that bad, besides the grainy affect can easily be removed by image editing programs.

Dude, 0.3MP IS TERRIBLE. I can buy $10 Hello Kitty digicams from Walgreen's with LITERALLY 10X BETTER RESOLUTION.

no wonder they could afford to sell the console at $170.
it's made of a bunch of really garbage quality parts, from the blurry screen and grainy camera to the bad substitute for a real analog stick.
