People need to stop saying that there's a point to a 3Dless 3DS.

I'm tired of paying $10 for an extra feature I don't use. Nintendo should make a model that caters to me and the ten other people that care. Then, confuse the hell out of those who think they are getting a full-featured 3DS for cheaper. This would be a smart business move. I should be the CEO of Nintendo.

$30? The difference in cost between the 3D screen and a non-3D screen would be about $10, I believe

I'm sure it would be much more than 30 dollars.

I wouldn't be surprised if a non-3D screen model would cost 119.99.

There's no way they'd sell a new 3DS model for less than the price of a DSi. The DSi is only $20 less than the 3DS right now anyway. You want a 2D system? Turn off the 3D slider or buy a DSi.

That's the thing, people are doing just that. Lots don't care for the 3d gimmick, they think the 3ds and Ds are the same thing except for the 3d thing, so when they have the option to buy a Ds with "bonus 3d feature" or a cheaper Ds model, most people who care less about 3d are probably gonna get the Ds.

10 people? lol. More like 15-20% of humanity can't see 3D+those who don't care(movie tickets say this lot is increasing)+haters.

Nintendumb made a mistake from day 1 using 3D as the sales point, should have just said it was capable of it. Like the PS3

I guess my blatant sarcasm isn't blatant enough.

First of all, I know all about DS prices.

Secondly, there will be no 2D version of the 3DS.

Lastly, lighten up.
