I'm opting for the 3DS version, I like streetpass as a feature and just as notable I like it not being disabled just because I was playing a game before class/the last time I opened the system.

Besides, the 3DS visuals are about what I would like to see when purchasing a new game, the $10 difference is small enough.

I'm getting the 3DS version. The $10 dollars is pocket change to me.

How different from Harvest Moon: Back to Nature is this game?

$10 isn't that big of a difference. The argument of that mentality leading to higher prices would only work if the games WERE exactly the same.

An exclusive minigame that actually helps a lot in game progression, some extra features, marginally better graphics, and the convenience of playing it on your current system... I think those altogether are worth the meagerly sum of $10.
