Could somebody please tell me why everyone is complaining about the controls?

I've spent the last 10 minutes downloading all of the NES games and reading the forums. I understand complaints like Zelda II not saving, or how Zelda II sucks, which it dosen't but I am not here to talk about that.

I keep reading people are having trouble because the controls are bad. Why? These are the controls I expected. I've only played 1-1 and 1-2 of Super Mario Bros. but I have no problem with the controls. I mean sure, the buttons are small, using the Dpad is kind of annoying, and I would prefer to use Y and B instead of B and A, but this is exactly what I expected. This is how I played Super Mario Land. So could someone please explain what the problem with the controls are?

i agree people whine too mucn. that said, the 3ds is cramped if you dont have the hands of a child. no problems with the layout or the control scheme, it's just too small... i will get used to it though, it's miles better than my phone. if i were fat, i think i would be button-impaired.

I can only think that the majority of Gamefaqs users are giants.

That's why people are complaining. Is using B and A doable? Yes. Can you adjust? Yes. But it will probably always handicap you to some extent, and it'd be extremely easy to let you swap the buttons.
